OUR SPEAKERS

Great speakers are the heart of a great conference - and we can't wait to begin announcing them later this week. Last time, our speakers included Russel Norman from Greenpeace, Laura O'Connell-Rapira from Rock Enrol and ActionStation, Saom Namchu all the way from Kalimpong, Jade Leung from The Learning Collaborative, and heaps of others - check them out here.

It's not just two days of talking heads though. Because it's a small, personal experience, you'll be able to genuinely interact with our speakers, not just listen - and we have a range of workshops and other activities lined up to - including a few surprises we can't wait to show you.

WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT OF IT

We can't promise that you'll turn into a social change master the Monday after you leave World Changers. But we know this will be a big step on the way!

You won't just gain knowledge, but a chance to sharpen up your skills. If you already see yourself as a changemaker, this is your chance to level up.

THE FOODS!

From the moment you arrive on Friday, until you leave on Sunday afternoon, food's all part of the package.

But it's also part of the experience.

PREVIOUS CONFERENCES

World Changers is back to Piha for the second time. Last time, the only complaint we received was about weather. We've also hosted World Changers conferences before, from 2011-2013, in Auckland and Christchurch.

Our World Changers alumni have gone onto do epic things - from starting social enterprises, to winning Fulbright and Rhodes scholarships, to raising thousands of dollars for people in extreme poverty through Live Below the Line. We can't wait to see what you'll do!

THE VENUE

You'll be living for three days at the beautiful Piha Mill Camp. Near one of West Auckland's most epic surf beaches, you'll be nested in eight square kilometres of native bush.

This isn't any ordinary conference centre. It's going to be awesome.

THE COSTS

World Changers costs $100. That covers everything for three days. Food, accomodation, the works. In fact, the fee basically all goes to your food and accomodation - so I guess that makes the rest of the experience free, right?

WHAT COMES NEXT

World Changers isn't just a conference. It's our family on campus. You'll become part of a network, who you can keep bouncing ideas off in the months and years to come.

And, you'lll get the first invitation to our upcoming events on campus at your university!
