  1. To make this website work, we collect personal information from you, including information about your:
    1. name;
    2. contact information;
    3. location;
    4. computer or network;
    5. interactions with us;
    6. billing or purchase information; and/or
    7. any other information you choose to send us.
  2. We collect your personal information in order to:
    1. provide you the best possible website experience;
    2. maintain our volunteer and supporter database;
    3. communicate with you by email and otherwise;
    4. receive your donations; provide you with tickets to our events;
    5. send submissions and/or petitions on your behalf;
    6. record your participation at our events and projects; and/or
    7. any other purpose for which you agree to provide information to us.
  3. Besides our extended leadership team (which may include employees, contractors, and/or volunteers), we share this information with:
    1. NationBuilder in order to maintain our secure contact database;
    2. Paypal and/or Eway in order to process online payments;
    3. where you sign a petition or send a submission to a decision-maker with that decision-maker as reasonably necessary to submit that petition or submission on your behalf; and
    4. partner organisations if and when you have consented to this sharing of information.
  4. Providing some information is optional, but:
    1. If you choose not to enter your email address, we will be unable to email you;
    2. If you choose not to enter your mobile phone number, we'll be unable to send them text message alerts; and
    3. If you choose not to enter certain personal information, that may limit or prevent your participation in our events.
  5. We keep your information safe by:
    1. storing it in NationBuilder, a secure online database; and
    2. only allowing members of our trust board, Extended Leadership Team, and Communications Team to access it, and only when they need to in order for us to do what we do.
  6. You have the right to:
    1. ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you; and
    2. ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.

  8. In addition to the reasons set out in this policy, we will also disclose your personal information if and when required by law.




  1. We are funded by individual donors, event revenue and grants. As a charity, we want and need to be transparent to you about our finances. All our annual reports are available on this website.
  2. We accept money from individuals, companies, and government departments, but will not accept any donation, grant or other funding that may compromise our independence or integrity as New Zealand's youth movement against extreme poverty.
  3. All donations made to P3 Foundation go to supporting our work building New Zealand’s youth movement against extreme poverty, except where otherwise stated.
  4. All donations made to P3 Foundation’s fundraising appeals for overseas development projects are passed on to our development partners for their work on the project or projects specified in that fundraising appeal.
  5. We will only spend donations you give us for the purposes for which you made the donation to us.
  6. If for any reason we cannot do so (for example, if a development project that we support overseas is forced to close), we will contact you and ask for your consent to apply your donation to a similar project or purpose. You may refuse to give that consent, in which case we will return your donation to you.
  7. We will not refund donations, except as set out above, in exceptional circumstances, or at our sole discretion. If you make a donation in error, please contact us by email at [email protected], or by mail to PO Box 105-714, Auckland Central, Auckland 1143, and we will consider whether we are able to return your donation in the circumstances.

  1. From time to time, we sell tickets to our events through this website.
  2. All ticket sales are final, but:
    1. If you wish to cancel your attendance, we may offer a refund at our sole discretion.
    2. Where we have already incurred expenses as a result of you purchasing a ticket, we will not in any circumstances refund the portion of your ticket price that we have already spent on your attendance.
  3. Notwithstanding the above, we will honour all our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act, and any other New Zealand legislation.
